Something that is getting seen more and more on home inspections is denim insulation. I love the stuff, as it is better than fiberglass insulation in so many ways. Here are just a few examples:
The one down side is the price tag. With a cost of about twice as much as fiberglass insulation, denim insulation can be pretty expensive.

- Better acoustics and sound dampening
- Eco-Friendly made from recycled denim products such as clothes
- Low/No VOC's
- Not a skin irritant like fiberglass is
- and when an EPA fire retardant is applied like many manufacturers do, it becomes very fire resistant comparatively.
