Here we see a great home inspection picture of efflorescence. Efflorescence is basically minerals (a lot of calcium) that comes in with moisture and builds up on the foundation walls. This is typical to see and is often not an issue.
In this month's home inspection photo we see a set of basement stairs that are in good shape (for an older home) but that are missing handrails. Handrails are an important safety item and should be installed.
